I am a Conservation Biology student at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) and wildlife photographer based out of Long Island, NY. As a nature enthusiast since kindergarten, birds have always been one of my interests along with other wildlife; though whales and dolphins were the first set of taxa to catch my attention, followed by other marine life as a whole, dinosaurs and other extinct animals, land animals (mostly mammals), bony fish, birds, and other wildlife. I didn't take my interest in birds outside my backyard until 2015, which I spent learning how to identify and report birds using eBird.org. Since then, my interest in birding has expanded to encompass many bird-related projects such as shorebird surveys, citizen science projects like the Great Backyard Bird Count and Global Big Day, and chasing local rarities. While birds are currently my main focus, I will try to identify most other mammals, reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, and occasionally plants and fungi I happen to find in the field. I'll observe and/or photograph all sorts of wildlife in the field, and plan to expand to underwater photography in the near future. I am also a member of the New York State Young Birders Club, ESF Herpetology Club, the Guy A. Baldassare Birding Club at ESF, and the ESF Society for Conservation biology.
