Aris Paizanos - Mavrakis was born in Athens in 1984. He holds a Master of Arts from Athens School of Fine Arts. He also studied Graphic Design, specializing in Animation in the Technological Educational Institute of Athens. He has worked on Greek television in motion graphics department. Now he works as a film director and independent producer, specializing in music videos. He has created four short films and a documentary film. Photography is also his passion. He began to work on artistic photography since his school years. In 2002 he was awarded a prize at the Pan-European Photo Art Competition, International Photographic Experience of Monuments, as part of the European Cultural Heritage Days, under the auspices of the Council of Europe.
