Hello, I am Edward Desmond Disney, Jr., I go by Des. I grew up around photography. My dad was a photographer in the Army Air Corp during WWII and owned Atlanta Photo Supply Co. I have a BFA with a concentration in photography from Georgia State University. For the past 14 years I have taught a b&w photography/darkroom class at a summer girls camp in NE Alabama. I have had over 1,700 girls take this class. My approach to photography can be summed up by the following quote by Gary Winogrand "I photograph something to see what it looks like photographed". Several of my on going "themes"/intrest are; Taking pictures of people taking pictures, Selfies, Architecture, Shooting From The Hip, Street Photography, and anything else that catches my eye.
