I'm a 57 year old grandma and in my time have done all kinds of jobs - barmaid, staff nurse, mature student, lecturer, researcher and investigator. I've recently suffered from severe depression and in a bid to get out of the downward spiral I bought a cheap camera and started to take photos. I enjoyed it so much I've invested in a better camera - Fuji FinePix S5700 - and I'm beginning to learn a lot more. I've still got loads to learn though and would appreciate any helpful criticism from those who have more experience.

We have a cat (Tigger) and have adopted a retired Guide Dog, Thomas.
