Hello, my name is Aleksandr Tikhonov, I am a graphic designer and printmaker from Saint John, N.B, Canada.

A little bit about myself:

I was graduated in 1998 from the Moscow State College of Printing, profession printer. I worked as a printer and in prepress as an operator in various printing houses from 1996 to 2013. Graduated in 2013 from Moscow state University of printing arts, faculty of Book design (KhTOP).

Since 2013 I’ve been working in free time in my studio "TENTONPRESS" designing and printing posters, prints.

In my studio I combine modern graphic design with old techniques. I use, along with my computer, first of all an ethching press from Italy, a type of wood, a new wood with laser cutting, blocks of plexiglas or Lino, offset plates, aluminum and copper forms.
