I'm starting to build up my lenses since moving to full frame. I'm pretty sure a drug habit is cheaper. I love equipment. Peering into a camera store makes me drool. Holding a new lens is magical. Cameras, flashes, batteries...oh my. Why? Because it's wonderful to find a hobby that makes you feel like life is worth living.

Had carpal tunnel release and wrist surgery on right and left and wrist surgery on the right so I'm getting back into the swing of things slowly. The camera still gets mighty heavy but getting stronger. I'm not a bokeh fanatic. Sometimes it's nice, sometimes I love it, sometimes I actually like a busy background. I love high contrast, hdr, super saturated colors. Bold is beautiful. Meh, chromatic aberration isn't all that bad unless it's distracting to the eye. Lightroom is awesome and I use it. I'm just learning LR this year so I may get heavy handed for a while. Lenses are too expensive to wash out the results in LR. I cringe when I see it. I take photos for me and hope others enjoy it.

It's a nice day when you can scour the internet and find photos that speak to you, it's an even better day when you can go out and take photos that take your breath away.
