Photography is my hobby, not my profession. The more pictures I take, the better the best ones get (I still take some absolute duffers though). In the unlikely event that you wish to use a piece of my work for commercial purposes, contact me via Flickr Mail, but please don't take without asking.

I work full time in Scotland in the manufacturing/utilities sector, installing and optimising capital assets that protect the environment. Things have got very busy since 2022, so checking Flickr has become a bit sporadic.

I use a Nikon Z6 and occasionally a full -spectrum converted D80 or a Olympus OM-2 Spot Program (film camera).

Prior to June 2022, I had a Nikon D7500, and pre-2019, a Nikon D5000.

I post-process my RAW files with Affinity Photo - usually just to balance the lighting, crop and correct wonky horizons, but I'll describe what I've done in each image description.

Why I have a Pro account:

I joined Flickr at the point it was moving from Yahoo and I was worried it might not last. Flickr is one of the best communities on the internet, so I want to support it. Even though I don't need a Pro account, I think that sometimes it's worth paying to support something good.
