Photo hobbyist for a long time. Started as a yearbook and engineering magazine photographer at the University of Pittsburgh. Loved having a press pass. Also did some weddings and such 30-some years ago, but since then just do it for fun.

Currently use a Canon 7D Mark II, kit lens,wide angle zoom lens, and 100mm Macro. Expanded that to include the Canon R5 with the 100-500mm Zoom lens and 1.4 extender.

Enjoy general photography, and especially enjoy taking photos with my birder friends and sometimes using whatbird.com when we need help identifying a bird.

Thanks for any comments you might make about the photographs. I really appreciate it.

My favorites of other photographers are relatively small in number because I actually review and appreciate them from time to time.
