I am a very keen Amateur Photographer from Washington in the North East of England. My interest in Photography really started to develop (pun intended) shortly after I passed my driving test in 2007. This gave me the freedom to go out and see new places and I started to enjoy taking pictures of these places on my camera phone and capturing the beauty of God's creation. This gave me a real desire to start learning more about Photography and in December 2012 I was able to afford my first DSLR camera (Canon EOS 1100D).

I joined Washington Camera Club in January 2013 where I am still a member. I am now using a Canon 7D mark i that I have been using for just over 4 years now, although I will be looking to upgrade in the not to distant future when funds allow. I have been working particularly hard to up my landscape photography game in the last few years as this is the genre I am by far most passionate about. I also really enjoy going for photo walks around towns and cities, as well as nature and abstract photography.
