My name is Jonathon, I am 17 years old and have been doing photography since the age of 15, and a few film projects ect around the age of 10. I have always had a strong passion for filming, shooting photos and creating short movies. It wasn't to christmas in 2016 I got my first proper camera, being the Canon EOS 750D model which came with a 18-55mm IS STM Lense and a EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III Telephoto Zoom lense. It is a very decent camera body but I am nearing the point of which I need to purchase more glass to upgrade the quality of my photography. I live within the responaly small town of Timaru here in the South Island of New Zealand, though being a volunteer at the Pleasant Point Railway I spend most my saturdays out there. With having some great shooting locations and gaining support from many friends and family of which have been enjoying my photography I decided to re-set up my Flickr account to start sharing as many new pictures of mine as I can for others to see, most of which I shoot and then upload on the same day as I shot them. I hope to have 1000 followers by the end of 2018, I plan to do a lot more trips and really up my photography with better pictures and more scenes from around New Zealand, feel free to follow me, the more followers, the bigger the support and that shall hopefully lead me towards getting a part time photography related job / paid hobby work in the very far future.
