I live in rural Devon in the UK, so many of my shots reflect my surroundings. I have been shooting since I was a kid, my first camera was a Zeiss Ikon bellows camera, I now fully embrace the digital world, from shooting to post processing. For me a shot should have certain elements including, though not necessarily all; compositional integrity, drama, a colour or tonal pallet that is considered, and a statement of some kind. A picture of a beautiful thing is not a beautiful photograph unless it contains some part of the shooters intention.
