The Inter-European Air Forces Academy (IEAFA) is located on Kapaun Air Station, Germany. IEAFA's mission is to help enable combined, joint air operations by strengthening NATO and Partnership for Peace air force capabilities and interoperability through targeted military education and training.

IEAFA currently offers professional military education in the form of a 5 week Inter-European Squadron Officer School and 5 week Inter-European Noncommissioned Officer Academy. Both courses are taught in parallel to each other, integrating the learning experience for both, the officers and NCOs.
