I started taking pictures (or processing light ;) ) a couple of years ago, when my dad gifted me with my first camera, my Sony Cybershoot. I still use it to this day and am manifesting a more advanced camera, as I'm delving further into the realms of photography and am in need of highter quality pictures.

I love what I do because I've always seen the beauty in things and in people so clearly, and now I can capture it and share it for them to recognize as well. I like shooting nature, landscapes, cityscapes, miscellaneous objects and places but most of all I love photographing people. Specifically, all of the beautiful people I have in my life.

Sometimes the quality of my pictures isn't necisarily the best, but I always capture the moment I mean to, and so I accept that the picture turned out perfectly the way it was meant to. I don't like to strain myself in the arts to live up to anyone's "standard", as I see that as a way of submitting to conformity, which art is supposed to stand against. I've also found that in many aspects of my life, striving for the finish line, or to strike that yoga pose, or whatever have you, I get a lot less results than just being in the moment and the journey and accepting things as they are.
