My grandfather was an avid photographer by hobby. He had taught me at an early age how to capture moments in time with his completely manual Nikon F2 35MM. After he passed on I continued to use his Nikon from time to time and eventually came forth the digital age where I used a simple point and shoot Sony DSC-W50. It was never the same though as it was, back swapping lenses and manipulating the settings experimenting and exploring or remembering grandpa over my shoulder while trying to focus on a macro shot. So patiently say just move the entire camera closer or further to tweak the focus instead of trying to balance the camera and dial in the focus. Recently curiosity got a hold of me and I started to take a look if the Nikon DSLR bodys were backward capable with the older manual lenses. I was actually kind of surprised, yet impressed that Nikon was compatible that far which became the deciding factor. I now primarily take photos on the Nikon D7200 as it also opened the option to recapture moments in time through the same glass lenses that grandpa not only used, but shared his love of the hobby with me as I post some of my own captures on this site. Hopefully there is some of which shared that can be enjoyed by others. Thank you -J
