Dr. Sonick serves on the Editorial Review Board of Inside Dentistry, Compendium of Continuing Education in Dentistry, Functional Esthetics and Restorative Dentistry, Journal of Implant and Advanced Clinical Dentistry, and Dental XP. He frequently contributes to the dental literature in the area of periodontal surgical techniques, esthetics, dental implants, bone grafting, gingival grafting, and radiographic protocols for predictable implant placement. His international contributions have been recognized through various awards, including an Honorary Membership in the Indian Society of Periodontists, Fellowship in the American College of Dentists, Fellowship in the Pierre Fauchard Society and a member of Who’s Who in Dentistry. The General Dental Practice Residents at Yale New Haven Hospital also awarded Dr. Michael Sonick the honor of “Teacher of the Year.”
