Hello everybody, I'm Dave, AKA Squashed Nose or SN. No prizes for guessing why! I am a busman by trade, having been on the buses in London since 1986. I am currently working in North London as a controller. It is a job, not a vocation!

I got into photography in the early eighties when I had the opportunity to work at the photographic department at the Hertfordshire Police headquarters and I have been taking pictures of anything and everything ever since, particularly following the advent of digital cameras! I have a dislike of flash and of post production processing so my pictures can appear flat and uninspiring but at least they are real! I started posting my pictures to Instagram from where I was unceremoniously ejected for no apparent reason so here I am. I went out yesterday with my Canon M6 Mark 2 to take some spring snaps and some of the results are on my stream. I will be going out again today with my 750D with 15-85 IS USM lens. My favourite combination. Progress is slow as I am learning a new platform and I am an old dog trying to learn new tricks! I hope I can find a home here.
