The IBB is home of the Systems, Synthetic, and Physical Biology (SSPB) PhD Program. The IBB promotes bio-related interdisciplinary research and education, fosters ties with the Texas Medical Center, creates partnerships with industry, promotes the translation of research, and facilitates strong research training programs.
