Hello and welcome to my photostream.

Originally a native of the North East I have lived in different parts of the country, mostly in East Anglia and now in Gloucestershire. I have been interested in all forms of transport but mainly trains and planes, including volunteering on the Ffestiniog Railway in school holidays and later with Plane Sailing Air Displays as crew on the Catalina and Tigercat. I also like to shoot landscapes as well.

I like to use Flickr to share my work (although I do use Instagram occasionally) and find it an interesting place, especially the quality of work on display so its always appreciated when others like or comment on my work. I also like meeting fellow enthusiasts (photo and hobbies) when out and about and grateful for the hints and tips as well.

As to photography I started out on a 35mm point and shoot from Dixons before moving on to a Praktica LTL, then Minolta (XD7, X700, 7xi) before switching to Canon (70d/90d). Old negatives and slides have been scanned using a Plustek 8200i.
