My recent photography is inspired by the quiet character of forests. I look for simple compositions, subdued colours and subtle contrasts that reveal the atmosphere of a place. Instead of focusing on individual trees, I try to capture the feeling of being within the forest itself, with its depth, structure and sense of calm.
