i just like taking pictures of just about anything on my travels,I just wish that I lived in a part of the world that had decent scenery, and hope to take just a few shots that could be mistaken for a professional effort.

years ago i had a zenith em , then a practica bc1, all my films were high street processed , but nothing to shout about , so lost interest in my camera. then DIGITAL ARRIVED in the shape of 5 mega Olympus trip . Had that for ten years and decided to trade up to a lumix tz 60 10 years ago(2015) , which unfortunately has decided not to focus past 4x zoom . this coincided with my 50th, so i made the decision to get myself my first SLR for over 25 years (pre-loved ...as the term goes). now i have to learn edit to the shots to a standard that will pass muster ..........lets see how it goes.

slowly getting to grips with light room, also using a tripod on more shots and looking to upgrade to a better quality lens, or two.

YouTube has given me ideas of what is achievable in my part of the world, (the fenland of Cambridgeshire), which, in my opinion is predominantly boringly flat . no great vistas, just big skys and ely cathedral . luckily, I am not to far away from the coast or from woodland, thetford forest,
