Photography is a new but growing love of mine. Just starting to find my way and my own style and flickr is such an inspiration for that, seeing others great work and huge talents.

What I enjoy most about taking photos is that you start to notice small things all around you, little details that other people walk right by. You look up at the sky and down to the ground and everything in between. Things that might seem ugly like a piece of rubbish on the pavement can become beautiful if you shoot them right.

I enjoy shooting slightly underexposed shots in unusual light, particularly at night to give that eery feeling, black and white often adds to the mood. I probably get most out of finding beauty in the urban and mundane rather than photgraphing natural beauty, but I do love a bit of that too.

And above all I'm still learning and hugely excited by it all!
