I am a lifelong transgender that lives in Eugene, Oregon. I am back on hormones and love it just like the "old" days. There are tradeoffs, but so far I am "retolerating" them well. l have used hormones off and on for over 10 years now and I have reconciled myself to them; they are a part of me now and forever.

I am married to a quite wonderful and attractive woman. We go out together, but not here in Eugene where she is well known. I like to project myself as "Woman of a certain age," knowledgeable and attractive and who has "been around." I am studying French, and German and Spanish and Italian; I read a great deal, I listen to classical music, I cook, I hike and backpack, I love meeting interesting people - even the occasional man. I am not interested in meeting with other trans people.

I sometimes get lovely compliments from others as I go out shopping. I love that. I may be a bit too stylish for Eugene, Oregon... that is okay. I like to look like I would be at home in SF or NYC! So, life is good and I enjoy my female self like never before. If anyone should see me in Eugene, say hello!
