Hello, My last name means The Rooster [D'Haene], thus: Ronny The Rooster. Photography came to me as an answer to prayer after a life changing pipeline accident.

I had no interest in it despite having created a 99 acre wildlife project leading up to said accident. 2 &1/2 yrs later [and conveniently having a wildlife project to practise with] I began with a simple Canon Sureshot 115mm zoom. 1 yr later D200 with Sigma 500mm lense, & then my present cam Nikon D7100 with Tamron 150-600mm [Gen-1] lense. Proud Husband with a loving wife, 5 kids that have brought us 12 grandkids. I will click til someone is clicking the flowers on my grave. Hope you enjoy my site! UPDATE: MAR30TH'24...Several cameras since this original bio...and now shooting with the Nikon Z9 and mainly the Nikkor 800mm pf lense. By far best combo setup I've ever had. RTR
