-Started exploring in 2016 into the world of photography. Nikon d5200 was my first camera. 70,000+ Shutter actuations later, it sits on my study table beside my Japanese elm bonsai, a golden pothos, and a table lamp. Its picture control has been set to monochrome. A dusty 35mm dx f1.8 lens which I bought in 2016 remains attached to it. This camera has seen it all from me from an excited newcomer amazed at the blurry background of a portrait to a kind of matured click buzz interested more about reflected light, composition and the histogram.

- My travel companion has been the Nikon D3S. A monster of a camera. A master of all trades. The colors that come out of it with certain wide aperture lenses like the nikon 24mm f1.4, Sigma 50mm f1.4 are just ravishing. Holding the camera body itself sends inspiration though the veins. THe noise of the shutter- a clunky mechanical tone is so satisfying. In short its a beauty to behold. Unfortunately I lost the nikon 24mm to torrential rain in the dolomites. I have replaced it with a sigma 24-35mm f2 lens and I will be putting this new lens though its paces soon.

-My spoilt child is a d800. Its a second hand body which I bought off mpb. Actually it is a beloved gift from my wife on by birthday. IT had 16k + shutter clicks when I got it. Enclothed in a leather case it sits in my bag privileged.
