I've done some semi professional photo work in my hay day, but on actual film with an all manual Minolta SG-1. Those were the days, waiting a week for the film to be developed and no way to make exposure adjustments. I'm just beginning to get into digital with a Canon SL1 that I purchased in 2016. There is a whole world to explore. I am drawn to people, especially the ones who don't know that I am photographing them and have recently gotten into the world of macro photography using less expensive reversing rings (great use for my old manual lens!) and extension tubes. I love traveling and as my mentor and uncle tells me, "It helps to take great photos if you go to cool places!" There is, however, a whole world of "cool places" that can be found on the kitchen counter at the end of my macro lens. Just keep shooting!
