I browse, wander, sometimes travel, with or without a real camera. First camera – Kodak Brownie six-sixteen (616 film). High school photo club – Speed Graphic (4x5), Rolleflex both with solenoids for flashbulbs, slow lenses, warm developers (to increase film speed for night sports), Ektachrome slides for family photos, decades of end of century of processed color snapshots, then, later in life a Konica A-4 in pocket, Kodak Easyshare as first digital camera, Cannon Powershot of various versions (final one – A1300 now my pocket friend) and finally my son’s gift of a Nikon D90 which I will never master. Being born of black and white photography, current “technicolor” baffles me – often I turn color off - am not a picture maker for money – now a refugee from Panoramio and I do not Photoshop (just tweak with Windows 10 ). I record and remember and share as I feel. Today I wander in the electronic universe of photography and share the eye of the beholder –shared and captured moments, historical or ordinary, personal or public, without judgment and I am not an artist. Just a person with a camera before cell phones a and click away of that what was in front of me.
