My name is William Riccardo Crespo. I was born in Connecticut in 1998, coming to Florida merely months after. I sometimes like to be called Ricky, a nickname I’ve been given based on my middle name, due to the large number of men with Willie or William in my family.

Despite my work ethic and drive, I try to aim for a simplistic, focused lifestyle. While I have many goals in mind for myself, I make sure to keep the ones necessary to me at a high priority, caring little for obstacles. Personally, I feel myself maturing more because of this, making me confident of my capabilities once I go out into the workforce.

I do dabble in several hobbies, mainly involving in the arts and geek culture. Every week, I go to observe the street art in Clematis, or visit the Norton art museum. I am also a fan of comics and graphic novels, as well as video games, and have found myself involved within both communities. Honestly, they are some of the biggest inspirations for my own personal artworks.

When it comes to the field of photography, I am planning to use what I learn in my photography class to be a commercial photographer. As someone who is currently studying to be a graphic designer working for business, it is necessary to learn how to take photographs that are appealing to the eyes of the average consumer. While commercial photography may not be as renowned as photojournalism, it requires an equal amount of practice and knowledge.
