I am an amateur model, and I live in Paris.

I find that I like to be in front of a camera lens, experiencing the unique relationship that builds (or fails to, sometimes) between a model and a photographer.

I find that I like to compose and create, while the photographer, through capturing and processing, composes and creates.

When the picture is good, when it brings something, I like that very much.

I like to shoot costumed and I like to shoot nude. I think nude photography is a potent way to create art, as recognized and used by painters and sculptors since art was invented. It allows expressing something elemental about Man by shedding his guise, showing him as he is at his core. It can provide an interesting contrast and also emphasizes the male form.

I would like to stress that being comfortable with my body enough to use it for artistic photography has absolutely nothing to do with my sexual orientation, and the viewer should abstain from drawing conclusions. I believe nakedness does not necessarily imply a sexual context, a belief experienced in Northern Europe or Germany for example.

As such, the work presented in this portfolio is an artistic and personal venture, and in no way pornographic.
