I have had a background interest in photography since I was young. However I have never taken the time required to develop it. Recently I decided to spend more time doing what I love and learn what I can.

The past few years I have been using a Canon 600D (which I still use and love) and was limited to the twin lens kit options that I received with the camera...

I decided to invest in a Canon 85mm f/1.8 USM mid 2016 and was blown away by the difference in my shots along with the decision to start learning how to shoot in manual mode. Then came the frustration of shooting with an APS-C sensor with an 85mm portrait lens whilst trying to capture a little child running at you so hence an upgrade to a full frame in the Canon 5D Mark IV and a few other lens purchases of which I am yet to experiment with, so far I am extremely impressed with my investment.

I would like to continue to develop my technique and explore various methods of portraiture, landscape and street photography.
