I'm proud to know Don PinguinoFrog70 in person, he was my Spanish teacher many moons ago and has been a great friend ever since. He's always had an good eye for photography but over the last few years he's been continually surprising his fans with his shots (mainly taken with a Nokia cameraphone) of urban skies, half-lit street scenes, occasional self-portraits and close-ups of his obsessions. His unique perspectives, arresting titles and lo-fi aesthetic make for intriguing viewing and offer a fascinating insight into his paradoxical, insomniac vision of "querida y odiada guanatos".
