I hail from a journalism background, graduating from San Francisco State University. I spent time as a magazine host and producer, then moved into hard news in Los Angeles. While getting shot at during a news report in East LA, I quickly thought... "Humm, maybe news is simply not for me." I moved back up to the SF Bay Area and started my own production company called 12 Point Productions (if you are wonder why "12 Point," shoot me a line and I'll tell ya :). After living in the Bay for 35 years I realized I was going to have to sell one of my kids, or both, just to by a house in the Bay Area. So, the wife and I decided it was time for a change, packed up the rug rats, and headed to Miami (I know, a drastic change). And I'm hear to tell you South Florida is not the United States... it's South America. And being that my wife is Peruvian and I, a gringo that speaks Spanglish, it was a perfect fit.

During my video production career, I have literally done it all. I've been the over eager production assistant who gladly carried cables, fetched coffee and got yelled at... all at the same time. I've gripped and gaffed, (yep, I've had big lights take big falls), played 1st AC, 2nd, AC, and 3rd AC (3rd AC is pretty much the same thing as a PA). Was a DP for many years while editing on the side. Directed... nothing big, and have spent most of the past 5 years producing corporate video... whew! All totaling to almost 20 years in the industry, but who's counting? During this crazy journey I decided to pick up a DSLR and take some snapshots... I was immediately hooked.

That's the career side of me and here is the other side of me. I love telling a good story... and love good wine. Yep, short and sweet but if you really look, you'll see a lot.
