Petrus started shooting 35mm film with a Pentax in the late 90's with an interest in Black and White, and wildlife photography. Today, the gear has changed a bit, he now shoots with a Nikon D800, but his passion for capturing that special moment remains insatiable. He is the husband of an amazing woman, the father of 4 wonderful children, an industrial emergency responder by day and generally philosophically by nature. Petrus enjoys blowing-out the backgrounds with his 70-200 f/2.8, sneaking up on unsuspecting wildlife and talking about himself in the "rule of thirds".
