Julian Hughes is an artist based in Nottingham who's practice investigates place, its history, its geology, the people who inhabit it and the stories these tell. The chance encounters, staged actions and invited responses from others that take place on his journeys are documented through photographs, text and film. Hughes also works as a photographer for theatre makers, architects, designers, makers and collaborates on creative projects.
