I'm a hobbyist, but don't consider myself a photographer because I take pictures but have done little to create photographs. I shoot with the Nikon D750 and D800. My favorite lenses to use are my Tokina 100mm f/2.8 and 20mm f/1.8 G. I've taken a liking to doing macro photography and landscape photography as they allow me to completely detach from reality and go into my own little world. I love macro shooting more, because even if the weather isn't cooperating or if I can't find people to shoot, I can always find something laying around the house to take a macro shot of. Currently I'm doing a lot of studying and practicing regarding the mastering of lighting manipulation and control. I think once I have that aspect of photography down solid, then I'll begin to create photographs and not just pictures.
