The outdoors have always been an integral part of who I am, so what better way to show off its beauty with a photo? I’ve had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember, teaching myself the ins and outs of photo editing as well as the functions of a professional camera. Through my travels and love of exploring, my portfolio has grown to a point where I want to push it beyond a hobby. In general, landscapes and wildlife are my favorite subjects, however, street photography has become a close competitor. I’ve been fortunate enough to visit distant parts of the globe, from South Asia to Africa, as well as several locations in the Americas. Nothing brings me more pleasure than capturing a meaningful shot and showing it to those around me. The world is stunning if you know where to look, show it off in a picture.

I have been a Canon user for most of my life, although as of recently I have switched to Sony, specifically the A7RIII for you photo nerds out there. I’ve amassed a large collection of lenses and film cameras so no subject is out of reach. As for editing, Aperture by Apple was my first serious program, but now I work with Lightroom. Photoshop is also familiar to me, but I believe that a truly beautiful photograph is one you didn’t have to manipulate.
