Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, UK. Retired April 2019 at 65.
I was given a retirement gift from my work colleagues of an Olympus TG-5. It was great to use and really got me into photography, I used it for 12 months before treating myself to an Olympus OMD EM5 Mk2. I love getting out most days taking landscape, nature, and macro photographs. Barrow is a great location being both near the coast and the Lake District. Photography has opened my eyes to the beauty of nature all around us, if we only take time to stop and look. Using 14-150mm kit lens with a couple of extension tubes to get closer to nature and enjoying macro. As the butterflies and wildflowers disappear I have purchased a 75-300mm telephoto to get closer to perching birds.
