I first held a camera when I was about 10 years old - a Kodak, naturally, and like many others took many pictures of my dog, some of which were even acceptable!

Subsequent cameras included a Yashica Lynx, Pentax Slll, Pentax Spotmatic, Nikon AF 400 and the final film camera a Nikon N80. Apart from shooting Kodachrome and Ektachrome slides by the hundred I also shot a lot of Tri X and Panatomic X which I developed and printed myself.

I lost interest due to disappointment with commercial processing and only in 2007 when I was given a D70 by my son and introduced to digital was the spark rekindled.

I remain an enthusiastic amateur and hope that any who care to look at my images will see them in that light.
