I started out taking photos of metallurgical microstructures while in graduate school and have progressed on to bigger things. I like to photograph industrial, nautical, architectural and natural things. Much of my photography is on film using ether medium format or 35mm, however, I routinely use digital.

I am an opportunistic microscopist using a variety of microscopes to look at small things from crystals to pond water to histological cross sections. I have been teaching myself histological technique.
