Photography is one of a number of talents I've been gifted with. My career for the past 50 years is as a Custom Picture Framer. Late in life I decided to move to New York City to pursue my passion for the performing arts. As always life evolves and continues to; necessity afforded me exposure to a Kodak Point and Shoot. I was the Executrix of my Uncle James' will and it was necessary to document his entire collection of elephants, vintage salt and pepper shakers, crystal, brass and all sorts of other strange, yet interesting artifacts. There were literally thousands. When it was necessary to take a break from cataloging I started roaming the streets of New York City taking pictures. I was immediately and intensely smitten! The rest is history. Besides Custom Framing and Photography I am also an Actor and member in good standing of the Screen Actors' Guild (SAG) Singer and Tap Dancer. I do believe that the eye I've developed for imagery in photography is directly related to my years of experience as a framer. When I look into the viewfinder I've already seen how I envision the finished image. The same remains true when I first view a piece of art in need of its frame.
