Bibi FUNYAL was born on 28 June 1972. He is a writer and photojournalist, lives in Kathmandu, Nepal. He has worked with various news team from USA, Eruope and Asia as a translater, fixer and researcher. His articles and photographs/ images are publsihed in magazines and newspapers, books in Nepal, Holands-the Netherlands, Belgium and Japan.

Having previously worked as a trekking-tour mounatain guide for more than 15 years he knows the Himalayan Mounatains and their communities intimately.
