The camera is the wheelchair for my artistic disability. I love all forms of photography that capture the eye as well as the imagination, to have the power to freeze a moment in time is a wonderful thing.
I started working for Ilford films in Crows nest , Sydney in 1980,when I left school, which pretty much got me interested in photography, with the help of good staff discounts I used to do my own developing & printing. Digital photography re kindled that old flame and have been shooting like crazy ever since.
I like and appreciate all forms of photography, processed and straight off the camera all take my interest.
What really amazes me, is that every shot on my photostream, I have been there and experienced every moment through a view finder & lens. When I look at other peoples photostream I can see what you have seen.
I am Australian born, with a Latvian Anglo heritage, a proud Dyslexic and a keen learner of life's great adventures.
I try to reply to all comments left on my photos, but fail sometimes in keeping up, and I usually return a favourite to those who fave my photos. If you are following squillions of people and not many following you I probably won't follow you back , same if you follow me and have no photos to share then, same again. it's not about the amount of followers one has it's about the passion of photography.
