For years I worked as an aerodynamicist for a Formula One Team. I specialised in wing mirrors. I left the stressful world of corporate sporting and decided to follow my calling. Instead of worrying about shedding thousandths of seconds off race track lap times, I'm capturing those thousandths of seconds on film. Since my youth I have admired the work of Ansel Adams and Fred Herzog, my father having worked with the latter at the University of British Columbia. I was fortunate enough to inherit several older film cameras from my dear mother and father, who are both excellent photographers. I primarily use my Father's Pentax 6x7 and my Mum's Nikon F3; in my opinion, two of the best cameras in their respective formats.
