Welcome to my new flickr page. Many have followed and/or subscribed to my youtube channel Train9632W, and know me simply by my youtube name. For those who don't, my name is Alex Koehler. I've been shooting many railroads since I got my first camcorder back around 2002. Up until mid 2015 I shot exclusively videos, swearing I'd never cross over to the dark side aka, shooting stills.

Well, I bought my first Canon DSLR in the Fall of 2015 and haven't looked back since. Although I still love quality railroad videos, I have enjoyed learning how to hone the craft of good photography. What has grown on me most with photography thus far has been not having to invest hours at a time while editing photos vs editing/producing videos.
