Photography allows others to see the world as you do at that particular instance in time. It captures the essence of a reality or illusion as you present it. Your creation of your own world. It is harnessing the flow of time and stopping it for just a brief moment. And so.... photography is a type of magic that connects us to the past and the future.

I've recently come across my father's old Minolta SLR with a nice Minolta MD 50mm f2 lens attached. I got a cheapie adapter and place the lens on my Panasonic GF1 (MFT) camera and magic took place. Now purchased a Sony NEX-5N for focus peaking and buying more Minolta manual focus lenses; I'm hooked!
