I am a an amateur photographer from the upper Midwest. This site is dedicated to photos from sporting events, including races, track meets, cross country meets, bike rides and other. I love competition!

I try to capture the emotion and energy of the event, with unique perspectives, angles, viewpoints and colors. There are many photographers out there capturing shots of the participants; my goal is to capture the essence of the event - athlete, background, intensity, peak effort, preparation, warmup, finish and all. My shots are intended to inspire runners and other athletes, fans, families and event organizers. I want you to feel as though you are at the event!

As an athlete myself, I appreciate and understand sports photography. I love sports, and I love to watch sports. There is a lot going on at any given track meet; one of my goals is to share the diversity of activities at such events. Cross country meets and road races offer different opportunities to experience competition.

As a reminder, those pictured are athletes, not models; please treat them with the respect that they deserve! They are not posing for the camera (for the most part); they are participating in an event.
