Béla Dózsa-Borbély Artist

He was born in 1934. He creates since the 1950s, besides his technical studies and activities.

At the beginnings of his career he creates filigriees, smaller metal sculptures.

In the 1960s he began to combine metals with different plastics and plexiglas on his op art sculptures.

On his new light-kinetic mobile sculptures he strove to connect the movement and light effects.

From the 1970s he began to paint specific, Central European styled, expressive pictures.

In the 80s he builds different objects in his specially athmosphered surrealistic pictures.

In the 90s he creates monumental-kinetic metal scuptures.

From the 2000s visual motifs of his new living space, Lake Balaton appears on his paintings.

Cooperation - besides of his artistic activities he supports creating new art projects by technical consulting.

Besides creation he took part in many solo and group exhibition, art colonies.

His works can be found in private collections.

"Besides his naturalistic pictures the expressive-surrealistic pictures are emphatic with their particular forms and heightened colours. On these pictures the Artist shows these visual element through his own inner world.

So he creates special atmosphered mythology and narrative."
