Life goes on, and as I get older I am challenged with illnesses that keep me from what I want to be doing. Not just me but also my wife, Margaret. But when things smooth out again I have my two passions, Photography, which I've been doing since I was ten years old, and most recently art. Two very relaxing pastimes. One takes me outdoors, the other, at the moment, is mainly indoors but I look forward to having enough courage to take my sketchbook with me instead of the camera. I know it's going to happen, I just need to break the ice and pop down town, sit on the benches outside the old town hall and sketch the people outside the Café across the road. (It's at the far end of the road in the photo above, just beyond the overhanging tree, in the market square. No doubt I'll post my photos of my art when it happens but until then I go walking with a group on Wednesdays, when possible, and always take my camera. The results are the main bulk of my posts. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy the walks and chatting with friends. We always end up at a Café for refreshments afterwards. It's a real break from 'normal'. If you faved my photos, Many Thanks, it's very inspiring to know that you enjoyed the viewing. If you just took a peek, please come back another time and take another. Thank you to everyone who reads this.
