I shoot photo's for a hobby, and I have many Videos on YouTube ( over 2500 ). I started taking photo's of Thailand around all the places I visited, then some around the Philippines. Later on, I included some around Dorset and Hampshire here in the UK. I have over 25,000 photos in my portfolio but I have to edit many of them now as many appeared on my Web Site for Thailand. I shall be slowly adding to the collection here now after my open heart surgery and now recovered from it. It was a sad day for me finally my trusty Olympus E510 gave up the ghost on me it decided to play up after 9 years of use. I now have a new Sony RX10 111 DSLR camera which I am still getting used to and a Sony RX10 which I use for video now.
I am sorry to say yesterday ~ 14th January 2019, I found out from the Hospital that I am losing my sight, my left eye has gone. If I stop posting you will know the inevitable has happened. It is a sad day for me I will no longer be able to enjoy my hobby but that's life. I hope you have enjoyed my posts to date I am happy knowing that. Do what you can while you can thats my motto you never know when a barrier strikes you.
After my problems on the 14th January which resulted in me losing the sight in my left eye. I went to the doctors on the 29th January 2019. The doctor called an Ambulance for me and I was taken to Royal Bournemouth Hospital with blue lights on. I stayed in the stroke ward overnight having all kinds of tests done. I would at this stage like to thank all who helped me that day from the two paramedics Jay and Andy in the Ambulance with me to the Doctors and Nurses in the Emergency room on Tuesday night. To the Doctors and Nurses in the stroke ward during the rest of the night and the following day. They were all a credit to their profession. I cannot post as much at this moment in time as I am finding my life totally changing and not for the better. Having lost the sight in my left eye my right has deteriorated somewhat if anyone ever tells you getting older is great I can tell you it is not. What will happen in the future I can't say yet. Who knows. But I am a fighter and fight I will. The odd thing about all this is I don’t smoke, I don’t drink alcohol I exercise, I eat good food and not too much. So its the luck of the draw. And now finally on my Birthday I find I have cancer. Good Grief I hate this getting old, I dont know how much longer I can keep posting but I will post until I cannot any more. I hope you have all enjoyed my Photos and Videos.
