I've been taking photos since I was a kid. Family, friends, holidays and vacations. Photos as a way to remember people and events. But during the last 15 years my interest for photography has grown and changed. I'm reflecting more on what I want to create. What kind of images do I really want to take? What is it that makes a photograph I've taken interesting for somebody else to look at? What can/should I do with the photo in post processing? The interest is also influenced by being membrer of a ”photo club”, where we together decide on different assignments. This inspires me to try out new things, about what I’m taking photos of, but also about the tecniques I use.
