I am a freelancer and shoot for several publications including Saving Country Music, Blue Suede News and No Depression. I also write articles on music and musicians.My genres of choice are country, western swing, Rockabilly, Blues and Bluegrass. I am a Nikon guy all the way, never used a Canon. Prior to music photography, I had a Portrait and Wedding business. I also enjoy wildlife, landscape and urban street photography when I am in the mood. This site does not show that side of my work as I'm trying to keep it all music. I am a fan of great portraiture. I shot medium format back in the film era, these days I shoot full frame digital and honestly don't miss the darkroom! Photoshop is my darkroom now.
